Literature meets world music: Gisela Schneeberger and n.e.t.t.o. in Mindelheim
An evening between literary finesse and boundless musical joy awaits the audience on October 2, 2026, at the WELLness-FESTIVAL. Gisela Schneeberger opens the program with a reading from Ödön von Horváth's 36 Hours: The Story of Miss Pollinger. Afterwards, the transcultural dance orchestra n.e.t.t.o. transforms the venue into a sounding world map.
Gisela Schneeberger: Art of language with great stage presence
The widely awarded actress Gisela Schneeberger brings Horváth's literary world to life with precise articulation, fine timing, and intense stage performance. In the reading, black humor, social observation, and human abysses combine to create an impressive start.
A musical journey around the world with n.e.t.t.o.
After the reading, n.e.t.t.o. takes over the musical direction of the evening. Spirited Balkan sounds meet Caribbean rhythms and captivating melodies from Latin America. The orchestration thrives on rhythmic synchronization, international timbres, and a stage energy that immediately leaps to the audience.
Between reading, concert, and joy of life
The special charm of this program lies in the contrast: Here, the concentrated atmosphere of literature meets the pulsating sound of a transcultural dance orchestra. Word, rhythm, and movement interweave, creating a varied concert experience with surprising musical twists.
Conclusion: An evening for open ears
Visitors can expect a versatile festival evening with literary depth, international music, and a palpable live atmosphere. Those who want to experience Gisela Schneeberger in an impressive reading and then dive into the sound worlds of the Balkans, the Caribbean, and Latin America should witness this live event.
