Piano Music at Market Time: Liana Mkrtchyan in the Kreuzherrnsaal
On Saturday, October 10, 2026, the Municipal Music School of Memmingen invites you to a special concert morning. In the series Music at Market Time, Liana Mkrtchyan will perform solo on the Bösendorfer piano in the Kreuzherrnsaal. From 11 to about 12 o'clock, concentrated piano music will blend with the unique atmosphere of a historic concert hall.
A Bösendorfer Piano at the Center
The program focuses on the immediate effect of the piano. Liana Mkrtchyan will shape the concert morning as a soloist and let the tonal colors of the Bösendorfer piano stand out in the Kreuzherrnsaal. Dynamics, touch, and musical lines will be in direct dialogue with the room's acoustics.
Live Atmosphere Between Market Visit and Music
The concert series opens an informal access to classical music. After visiting the market or as a conscious start to the weekend, the audience can expect an intimate live atmosphere where each note is given space. The audience remains relaxed and attentive, while an engaging concert experience develops from soft passages, powerful chords, and precise synchronization.
The Concert Series of the Municipal Music School
The Music at Market Time series takes place from May to October in the Kreuzherrnsaal. The concept presents different facets of musical education and pedagogical work: in addition to student performances, teachers also perform solo. This piano concert places a clear emphasis on stage performance, musical shaping, and direct contact between the performer and the audience.
Conclusion: A Soundful Hour for the Weekend
Music lovers will experience a concentrated piano morning with Liana Mkrtchyan at the Bösendorfer piano on October 10. Admission is free. Those who want to enjoy classical music in special hall acoustics and a relaxed atmosphere will find an impressive start to the weekend in the Kreuzherrnsaal.
