An afternoon full of games, fun, and excitement in Memmingen
The Board Game Day for Everyone transforms the city library in Antonierhaus on October 24, 2026, into a meeting point for families, game fans, and curious explorers. From classic board games to extraordinary XXL games, a varied gaming festival awaits young and old.
Play, try out, and win together
From 2:30 PM, the game tables will open for free game rounds and new discoveries. Visitors can test numerous board games, experience game presentations, and join organized gaming sessions. The open atmosphere creates short paths between family games, strategy games, and spontaneous encounters.
Tournaments with competitive fever
At 3:00 PM, the tournaments will begin. The program includes the Wizard city championship, a chess tournament, poker, and Schafkopf. Small prizes are provided for the top three placements. Anyone participating in a tournament must register with the tournament management on-site at least 15 minutes before the start.
Pen & Paper, Lego, and XXL games
Even outside the tournament tables, the program remains diverse. Pen & Paper rounds, a Lego corner, XXL games, and other specials bring different gaming worlds together. This creates a communal multi-day experience in a compact afternoon format: concentrated playing, creative game ideas, and a vibrant community feeling right in the middle of Memmingen.
Festival atmosphere for the whole family
The Board Game Day combines the relaxed atmosphere of an open game festival with the excitement of a tournament day. Children, teenagers, and adults will find suitable offerings, engage in conversation, and discover new favorite games. Snacks and drinks will be available on a donation basis.
Conclusion
The Board Game Day for Everyone is an ideal meeting place for anyone who loves board games or wants to try something new with family and friends. Come to the city library, participate in the tournament, or simply dive into the vast world of board games.
