More Security with Smartphones: Ask Questions, Find Answers
In the mobile phone course for seniors – inquiry course in Memmingen, your personal life world is at the center. In a small group, advanced users receive understandable answers to questions that arise in everyday life with smartphones. The relaxed atmosphere promotes social participation, independence, and well-being.
Individual Questions in Focus
The age-appropriate course is not aimed at beginners but rather at people with good basic knowledge or prior participation in a beginner's course. Topics discussed include online shopping, setting up a PayPal account, and using online banking. Own desired topics can be mentioned upon registration.
Small Group and Patient Guidance
With a maximum of eight participants, there is plenty of time for personal questions. The course leader explains slowly, understandably, and step by step. A notebook helps to record important answers and read them again later at home. This creates a senior-friendly community experience with room for exchange and mutual support.
Accessible Venue
The course takes place in the community center of the Evangelical-Lutheran Church of Reconciliation. The access is barrier-free, and a dedicated parking lot with sufficient spaces is available. The group room is on the ground floor; a barrier-free toilet is available in the building. Those using a wheelchair should inform the organizer in advance so that the barrier-free entrance can be opened.
Dates, Costs, and Registration
The three-part course takes place on October 13, 20, and 27, 2026, each Tuesday from 14:30 to 17:00. The course fee is 50.00 euros. Registration is required as places are limited. Registration can be done at BILDUNG EVANGELISCH in the Memmingen deanery at 08331 495728 or by email at bildungevangelisch-mm@elkb.de.
