Clarifying mobile phone questions together in a calm atmosphere
The mobile phone course for seniors at the community center of the Versöhnungskirche in Memmingen offers advanced users a space for personal questions regarding smartphones and digital applications. In a small group, participants receive comprehensible support and can address the exact topics they encounter in their daily lives.
Practical help for digital everyday life
The focus is on specific questions that arise during online shopping, setting up a PayPal account, or online banking. The course does not teach basic mobile phone skills and is aimed at individuals with good foundational knowledge or prior participation in a beginner course.
Small group and personalized support
A small group size creates a relaxed atmosphere and allows for individual explanations. The patient course leader proceeds step by step and explains digital processes slowly and understandably. A notebook helps to capture important answers and review them later at leisure.
Community, safety, and social participation
Digital safety supports independence and social participation in everyday life. Those who handle mobile phones more confidently remain more easily connected with family, friends, authorities, and important services. Learning together also enhances well-being and creates valuable contacts in a senior-friendly environment.
Dates and registration
The course consists of three dates, each Tuesday from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. It begins on October 13, 2026, with the additional dates following on October 20 and October 27, 2026. Participation costs 50 Euros. Registration is required as spaces are limited.
Registration can be done by phone at 08331 495728. Alternatively, inquiries can be made via email at bildungevangelisch-mm@elkb.de.
Conclusion: Participate with more confidence on your smartphone
The inquiry course combines practical support, personal attention, and collaborative learning. Seniors receive comprehensible answers to their own concerns and gain more confidence in the digital world. Those who already have basic knowledge experience a valuable community experience with practical assistance.
