Football History with a Personal Voice

Sepp Maier, World Champion of 1974, public favorite, and cult figure of FC Bayern Munich, connects personal anecdotes with images from an extraordinary career in his portrait show. The nickname Katz von Anzing symbolizes that mix of quick reflexes, self-irony, and unmistakable charm that made him one of the most recognized personalities in German football for decades.

A Portrait Show Between Stage and Stadium

Together with musician and moderator Tobias Bücklein, Maier develops an evening that goes far beyond a classic reading. The dramaturgy combines conversation, musical moments, projections, and memories into an entertaining stage experience. The audience experiences football history not from a distance, but from the immediate perspective of a man who has shaped it himself.

Anecdotes, Images, and Unmistakable Humor

The focus is on the great games, encounters, and stories behind the scenes. Between world championships, club football, and personal experiences, a vibrant panorama of German sports and television history emerges. Tobias Bücklein guides the evening while Sepp Maier ensures closeness with direct audience interaction and pointed humor.

The Forum Mindelheim as a Stage

The Stadttheater in Forum Mindelheim, with 384 seats, offers a concentrated setting for this special production. The indoor event combines the acoustic intimacy of the theater with the visual language of a multimedia show. A signing slot during the intermission is reserved for seats in rows 1 to 4; for additional seats, the signing session will take place after the performance.
